Crop Loss Compensation: The vagaries of the weather cause huge losses to the farmers every year. Something similar was seen in the year 2022 as well. Somewhere the crop was damaged due to unseasonal storms and somewhere the condition of the farmers was troubled due to drought. In such circumstances, many state governments have gone ahead to help the farmers. In this episode, the Bihar government has also started a relief grant scheme, under which a grant of Rs 13,500 per hectare is given to farmers who have suffered crop loss.

Uncertain weather activities are now dominating agriculture in the country, due to which the farmers have to bear the loss. Many farmers do farming even after taking loans, who almost get trapped in financial crisis. In Bihar too many farmers suffered huge losses this year. In return for such losses, the farmers can get some partial assistance, so the Bihar government has started the Agricultural Input Subsidy Scheme, which can be compensated to some extent.

If you are also a farmer of Bihar and your crop has also suffered huge losses due to the uncertainties of the weather, then you can also apply for agricultural input subsidy. To take advantage of this scheme, farmers have to accept certain conditions. The farmer should have his own cultivable land. Small farmers with at least 2 hectares of land will be given the benefit of this scheme. Farmer’s e-KYC means Aadhaar should be linked with the bank.
